We need you for what's next.
Dear Friends of Hallwalls,
As I reflect on my first year as Executive Director of Hallwalls, I'm proud of what we've accomplished together and even more excited about what's ahead. Beyond the exhibitions, films, concerts, and community events that fill our calendar, we've been doing significant work behind the scenes to strengthen our organization and prepare for what's next.

Together with our Board, staff, and community partners, we've developed a three-year Capacity Building Plan, strengthened relationships with foundations, and laid the groundwork for a more ambitious and sustainable Hallwalls.
And our community continues to show up. Admissions, membership, and individual giving are all growing. Even as public arts funding becomes less reliable, including a significant reduction in state funding this year, we're seeing just how much people value Hallwalls and why investing in its future matters.

Looking ahead, we want to expand opportunities for artists through exhibitions, residencies, and public programs, build new partnerships, and invest in the people and resources that make it all possible.
For more than 50 years, Hallwalls has been a place where artists can take risks, audiences can discover something unexpected, and new generations can find their place in the arts. We want to ensure that continues for generations to come.

I'm also grateful to have been selected for the Cullen Foundation Fellowship, which will support my continued growth as a leader and help connect Hallwalls with artists, organizations, and cultural leaders across the country.
I'm excited about the opportunities and relationships this can bring back to Buffalo.

We've spent the past year building a stronger foundation. Now we have an opportunity to do something truly special with it.
I invite you to make a gift to Hallwalls' Annual Appeal as we work toward raising $50,000 by March 30, 2027. Will you help us get there?
Your gift will help us build on this momentum, support more artists, and ensure Hallwalls continues to be a place where new ideas and creative voices can thrive.

Thank you for believing in Hallwalls, for showing up, and for helping us imagine what's possible. I can't wait to share what we do next!
See you soon,

Parrish Gibbons
